How It Works

Flamingro™ works by increasing the natural defensive mechanisms in plants.; creating larger, healthier plants.

1. Flamingro™ induces and enhances the natural defensive mechanisms in plants.

Plants and microbes behave symbiotically – microbes provide plants with nutrients and in exchange the plant feeds the microbes.

2. Flamingro™ increases local endophyte numbers in the soil.

Endophytes are essential for persistence in most New Zealand pastures and crops, as it protects the plant from insect attack.

Flamingro™ increases the number of local endopyhte numbers in the soil resulting in plant disease suppression.

The Endophytes enter the root system and create a barrier effect, where they prevent pathogenic microorganisms from attacking the roots and spreading disease.

Flamingro™ creates a larger and healthier root mass increasing water and nutrient uptake.

Flamingro increases soil microorganisms conductive to a healthy soil.

Chitin in Flamingro™ is a chelator used to improve the anionic exchange capacity of soils to limit the leaching on nutrients and improves the nutrient delivery to plants.
