Flamingro started out in California in the early 1990s, not in a laboratory, but in the field, where chitin-treated soil was producing noticeably healthier plants and American growers were seeing it first-hand. These early observation led to rapid uptake across a wide variety of commercial crops – including viticulture, vegetables, citrus and others – the way good products usually do: growers sharing results with other growers.

Our flagship product, Flamingro™ is a dual action organic biostimulant and bioprotectant that starts in the soil and works its way through the whole plant. It feeds the soil biology and root systems that healthy, productive plants depend on and it simultaneously fortifies the plant’s capacity to defend itself by activating its natural resistance to disease and pest pressure. The result is a growing system that compounds – more resilient, more consistent, and better equipped every season.
