For optimum performance, Flamingro should be applied using dedicated ground drench spray equipment.
Flamingro forms a slurry, it does not dissolve. It is not recommended for use through pressure spray equipment or fertigation systems, as it may block filters and other components, resulting in unnecessary maintenance and reduced application efficiency.
Inhalation of dry material should be avoided. Wearing a dust mask and goggles is recommended.

The chitin in Flamingro™ is recognised by receptors on roots as an early warning signal and the plant activates internal defence systems, signalling the plant to reinforce its cell walls and overall priming its resistance before disease or pests strike.
Flamingro™ increases beneficial soil microbe populations, improving fungi:bacterial ratios conducive to healthy, aerated soil and key for soil first growing strategies.
Flamingro™stimulates root mass expansion, increasing access to water and nutrient uptake. Increased beneficial microbe populations also increase nutrient cycling and availability.
Humic and fulvic acids in Flamingro™ act as chelators, improving nutrient availability and transport into plant roots, and anionic exchange capacity of soils which helps limit the leaching of nutrients.
Some beneficial microbial species form biofilms on root surfaces which act as a toxic barrier to pathogens and pests.
Other beneficial microbes are able to enter the root system to become endophytic, where they help prevent pathogens from entering the plant via the root system and release systemic compounds in response to above or below ground disease or pest attack.
